Two passengers from Bangkok were arrested at Kempegowda International Airport for concealing hydroponic ganja worth Rs 6.33 crore, officials said. One had 3.12 kg valued at Rs 1.09 crore, while the other carried 14.97 kg worth Rs 5.24 crore.

In a series of posts on X, Bengaluru Customs detailed other recent gold and ganja seizures. On 24 September, a passenger from Bangkok was held with 12 kg of hydroponic ganja, and another was caught with 6.54 kg. On 23 September, a passenger from Colombo was intercepted for trying to smuggle 823 grams of gold by making his daughter wear silver/rhodium-coated gold anklets.

The accused were arrested under the Customs Act, 1962, officials added.
